From the Heber Valley and the rest of Wasatch County, a garage load goes to the Wasatch County Solid Waste Transfer Station at $56 per ton, with a $20 minimum when tarped or strapped. Wasatch County does not have its own household hazardous waste program. Since November 1, 2022, the station has told licensed contractors to take their loads elsewhere, so a hauled load may go to Ace Intermountain Recycling in Heber City instead; the fee is billed at cost either way.
