The exemption

24/7 Express Handyman Service operates under Utah Code §58-55-305: every job is under $3,000 including labor, materials and any change orders. The DOPL affirmation that would raise the cap to $7,000 has not been filed, so the operating cap is $3,000. Minor plumbing incidental to a fixture or appliance that does not alter the piping is within the exemption.

Excluded from the exemption at any value

• plumbing
• electrical
• HVAC
• gas appliance / combustion system
• water-based fire protection
• radon mitigation

plumbing, electrical, HVAC, gas appliance / combustion system work is referred to a licensed trade, which contracts and bills you directly.

Verify any licence at the DOPL licence lookup. 24/7 Express Handyman Service holds no DOPL contractor licence and does not hold itself out as a licensed contractor.
